They are a type of Al2O3-SiO2 series product, with an Al2O3 content typically ranging from 30% to 48%, placing them in the medium to high Al2O3 content range for fireclay bricks.

Technical Parameters

SK34 refractory brick is made from high-quality calcined clay (clinker clay or calcined aluminosilicate materials) as the primary raw material, with appropriate binders and additives. It undergoes mixing, forming, drying, and high-temperature sintering (1300°C–1400°C).SK34 bricks offer excellent high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and thermal shock stability, making them suitable for medium-to-high-temperature environments.Due to its balanced refractoriness and excellent overall performance, SK34 refractory brick is widely used in the following high-temperature industrial applications ,such as steel,cement,ceramic,glass industries and so on.

Characteristics of SK34 Fire Bricks

 

 

High-Temperature Resistance

Refractoriness ≥1730°C, suitable for operating temperatures up to 1400°C.

Good Corrosion Resistance

Good resistance to acidic slag and gases, with moderate resistance to alkaline slag.

Good Thermal Shock Stability

Low linear expansion coefficient (approx. 4.5×10⁻⁶/°C), offering better thermal shock resistance than higher-alumina bricks.

High compressive strength and wear resistance, suitable for high-load areas.

Reduces heat loss, ideal for insulation layers.
