Fire clay tile is flat, refractory ceramic products made primarily from fire clay (high-alumina clay, such as kaolin) with a composition and structure optimized for high-temperature resistance and durability. They are characterized by their ability to withstand thermal stress, chemical erosion, and mechanical wear in high-heat environments. Below is details:

Key Properties of Fireclay Brick Tile
High Refractoriness: Withstands temperatures up to 1500-1700°C
Good Thermal Shock Resistance
Good Chemical Resistance: Resistant to acidic and mild alkaline environments, though less resistant to aggressive slag compared to low-porosity clay bricks.
High Mechanical Strength: 20–50 MPa, lower than low-porosity clay bricks due to their thinner profile but sufficient for surface applications.
Low Thermal Conductivity: Provides good insulation properties
Low Porosity: Apparent porosity varies (15%–25%), generally higher than low-porosity clay bricks (10%–17%) but lower than standard clay bricks. Lower porosity versions exist for specific high-performance uses.
Good abrasion resistance for flooring or lining applications.
Good Thermal Shock Resistance
Thinness: Typically around ½ inch thick, making them lighter and easier to install than full bricks, similar to ceramic subway tiles.
Main Uses of Fireclay Thin Brick
1.Industrial Applications:
1).Furnace Linings: Used in kilns, incinerators, and industrial ovens to protect surfaces from heat and erosion.
2).Chimney and Flue Linings: Resist high temperatures and corrosive gases in industrial chimneys.
3).Kiln Furniture: Support structures in ceramic kilns due to their thermal stability.
4).Furnace checkerwork,Soaking pit covers,Annealing furnace floors
2.Process Industries:
1).Chemical reactor linings
2).Incinerator combustion chambers
3).Catalyst support grids
3.Foundry Industry: Furnace linings for metal melting and casting operations.
4.Boiler Construction: Combustion chamber linings and flue construction.
5.Domestic Applications:
1).Fireplaces and Hearths: Used as fire-resistant flooring or wall linings in fireplaces.
2).Wood-Fired Ovens: Lining for pizza ovens or traditional baking ovens.
3).Decorative Flooring: In areas requiring heat resistance and aesthetic appeal.
4).High-temperature facades,Radiant heating systems , chimney construction
Packaging and Shipping of Fire Clay Tile
1.Packed on wooden pallets with moisture-proof film or wooden box to prevent damage.
2.Keep in dry, ventilated areas.
