Technical Parameters

The pelletizing Rotary kiln uses high temperatures (typically 1200–1350°C) to roast green balls made of iron ore powder (such as magnetite or hematite) and binders (such as bentonite). This process triggers physicochemical reactions (oxidation, crystallization, and consolidation), forming high-strength, uniform pellets. Pellets offer advantages such as high iron content, consistent particle size, and excellent metallurgical properties, making them a crucial feedstock for blast furnaces or direct reduction ironmaking.Our company is Grate-Kiln-Cooler (GKC) System.The grate-kiln-cooler pellet production process involves binding iron ore powder with a binder and pelletizing it on a balling machine. The formed pellets are then conveyed via a belt to a distributor before entering the grate machine, where they undergo drying and preheating. Subsequently, the pellets are sintered in a rotary kiln, and the finished sintered pellets exit from the kiln head into the annular cooler for cooling. Finally, the cooled pellets are transported via a belt to a storage bin.We have specialized in refractory materials for various types of rotary kilns for over twenty years. The second-generation system integrates low-thermal-conductivity materials to achieve 30% reduction in kiln shell temperature and over 10% energy savings while maintaining the safety and longevity advantages. This breakthrough directly supports clients' energy conservation, emission reduction, and green production initiatives.The current third-generation masonry technology and products utilize nanomaterials, achieving safety, longevity, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability while further reducing the thickness of refractory materials, offering significant advantages in lightweight design.
